Dragon uniform colors
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, December 2, 2003 1:40 AM
Gday,I have a question.I have a couple of Dragon figure kits which I haven't made yet and I'm kind of vague on the suggested colorschemes. Can anyone please either decipher the paint colours on their kits or provide a link where I can cross match their chosen paint with brands I'm familiar with please?
Thanks,
Sulo

Thanks Dwight, will do.By the way,you mentioned building a challenger before? The Australian Army is currently looking at acquiring our next tank as our Leopards are getting on a bit.
Apparently the frontrunners are Leopard2,Abrams M1A2 and the Challenger 2. My sister has a new boyfriend in the army so I'll have to quiz him on what he knows. I've seen the stats on the Leopard and Abrams but don't know much about Challenger.
thanks again,
Sulo

Yes. I am currently doing a 1/35 Trumpeteer British Challenger II kit. It is basically my first Trumpeteer kit so I didn't know what to expect. Surprisingly, it is not that bad for a beginner like me. The details are not as what one would expect from a Tamiya kit but I think these details are fine. Some minor fit problems but nothing that some careful sanding could not remedy.

I think the British Challenger is a very good tank. Of course I don't hear much about it but here is a link to site about it.

Sorry to the figures guys. I know this should have been in the armor forum.

Yeah, sorry,in the heat of battle I realised a bit late that I should have put this in the armor forum. Curse my limited forum experience.
Thanks Dwight for this link also,
Jeff

No problem about that Jeff. I think the other guys won't mind, too.

Hope the link helps.
