1/72 Scale naval figures

Now that the new 1/72 Scale U-Boat will be available from Revell/ Germany, where can we find a captain & crew?

Several figures are "packaged" in other vessel kits, but that's an awfully expensive way to obtain them.

There are many 1/72 scale German WWII figure kits, but I've found that none are naval figures. Some Luftwaffe figures might be adaptable, but it's a "stretch" to modify and position them. There are figures in 1/35 and 1/32, but not really very many of them either.

There are other naval kits in 1/72 scale: S-Boats, G-Boats (Soviet), PT, etc. But no manufacturer appears to provide the crews for diorama work.

Any suggestions, links, sources, ideas are most welcome!
