Hey there everybody, If you are looking for a fun and fairly simple weekend project without having to break out all of the paints, glues, files, etc. Why not try a paper model, I found them on line several years ago and you can get a lot of them in free downloads. Currently I have around 2500 on my hard drive (no need to worry about where I'm going to store them). They range in difficulty from the really simple (a single page model that a child of 4-5 can build up, with help from a responsible model builder) to the extremely difficult, (I have the Tripitz which is around 90 pages when printed up)
Just one of the site that you can get models from is posted here for you to enjoy the prices are very reasonable and you can even get a few free downloads as well, plus there is a reference article for WW 1 experimental aircraft as well.
Paper models are GREAT for beginners because all you really need is some card stock, white glue, a good pair of scissors, and some toothpicks! Talk about being easy on the checkbook. Especially with today's economy! So why not try a paper model this weekend and give your paints and brushes a try and as I mentioned above, here is the website. Enjoy
