The blue Prince, 120 mm Knight figure, finished

This is Verlinden's Black Prince figure that I finished up as a gift for my girlfriend. She is a huge renaissance fair geek and her favorite color is blue, so I thought it would be a cool piece. I had some experience with figures but this is the first in this large of a scale. I think she really liked it. The groundwork is supposed to mimic a human chess board, to tie it in with her love for the fair. Anyways, let me know what you think of my efforts. I really enjoyed painting it and am looking forward to my next figure, a german something or other also by verlinden. I'm really quite pleased with how it turned out, I used enamels and acrylics, but I might have considered adding more layers of paint to get a better contrast between the shadows and highlights. Let me know if you think it is too subtle.

P.S. You will probably notice a chip of paint missing from the scabbard, I fixed that after I took the pictures.
