That's what I thought, good to hear. I've been looking around eBay, but I don't have the $ anyway. I noticed that the one seller has no items. I’m assuming he’ll have more in the future, so I’ve got him watched. Hope I’ll have the money in the future when more become available. Wink [;)]

Thanks again.

I've been hording about 5 of his kits for a couple of months now. I got REALLY lucky and found a few on eBay a while back. In fact, my SF build is one of his figures ... modified of course.

I HIGHLY recommend picking up a kit if you find one. You'll be glad you did. I've also found that unlike verlinden .... you don't end up with TONS of copied parts the more kits that you have. Each one, given a piece for two here and there, is pretty much original all-round.

Bottom line .... I like Verlinden's stuff, but I can only do one or two figures in a row as they tend to be all the same. However, the more that I work with ABN Mini kits, the more I like'm.

Sweet, never had the pleasure of one of their figures, but I like the detail work more than Verlin and the price doesn't look too much worse. I wish he'd move into more 1/35 scale stuff as that's my main medium, however his 1/16 scale is nice (as far as pictures go- based more on molds/subject matter, not sure on the quality but I'm sure it's up to par. I like his folds in clothing better than Verlin). Thanks for the heads up Thumbs Up [tup]

From what I've gathered in another conversation with Maki ... the sculptor/ owner of ABN Miniatures was taking a break from the business a few years ago, but is now wanting to make a come back. The only other thing that I can gather is that if you like ABN Miniatures stuff ... be on the lookout for more items in the coming months.

I should have known ... the picture is from Maki's album ....

He's like the MASTER of the ACU pattern. I just talked to him tonight. The figure in the above picture isn't in production yet. He's doing the figure for the box art for a new Airborne Miniatures figure. From what I gather, it's going to be an Army/ SF/ .... huh .... hooah-guy Sniper.

That's pretty much all I know about it at the moment. I'll try to find out some more here soon ...

Stay tuned ....

Do you know who makes the kit? Is it Alpine Miniatures, I was looking through the pictures on that link, that's a nice looking SR-25 type rifle, I'd love to get one in 1/16, the silencer doesn't look hard to fabricate with the right diameter tubing either.

Looks like it came from this gallery on Armorama/Kitmaker: http://photos.kitmaker.net/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=199

My browser isn't playing nice so I can't see it properly atm, but it's one of several WIP pics there.

WOW! I hope you find out where you got that one from model, that's one nice looking figure. Again, individual pixels = Banged Head [banghead]Boohoo [BH] at any scale...

I had saved this picture before I started in on my OIF figure, but now I can't remember where I found it to begin with. If anyone can tell me if/ where they've seen it before, I'd appreciate it.

I'm trying to find out if this one was finished, and who makes the figure used for it.

Any info would be helpful. Thanks.....
