From what I have read, there was some variation in Soviet tanker coveralls during WW2. Dark Gray, Dark Blue, Dark Brown or Black being among the colors...

F is for FIRE, That burns down the whole town!

U is for URANIUM... BOMBS!

N is for NO SURVIVORS...

Russian tanker blue?
Posted by dupes on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 3:04 PM

Alright...in my ongoing battle with colorblindness, I'm looking for a little help picking out some colors for WWII Russian Tanker uniforms. Picked up the Vallejo 72-color "Military Colors" set thinking I might have some good matches in there, but am not finding anything good - appears I may need to get some of the Panzer Aces sets in order to get direct out-of-the-bottle matches.

SOOOOOO, my question is, anyone have a good mixing ratio for other Vallejo colors to get that "Tanker Blue" I need? If you happen to have a good highlight and/or shading color ratio as well, I'd be perfectly willing to try it out. Wink [;)]

Thanks guys!
