I already scratch built the flame thrower, though I think I did it a bit to large for 1/35.

He does look intense except hes pretty funny in game, not being audable because of the mask, so all you hear is mumbles

Ah I see, that's cool, wasn't sure if you had a subject picked out or just wanted some cool gask masks. That TF2 guy looks pretty intense lol

Indeed, they are creepy, could make some really cool creepy dios with them.  But there are a couple of non WWII things I'd like to do with those heads, Im still tossing that TF2 dio idea around my head that I started and halted a while back, I'd need one for that (see pic) Also, if you watch Dr. Who, I want to do a small viniette based on 'The Missing Child' Where the (spoilernaniterobotsspoiler) were causing the children that got harmed's faces into gas masks because thats what they saw the soldiers wearing

Its not exactly the same type of gasmask, but still

Yeah, they really over engineer these things now a days. I don't mind the head being an extra piece- but an extra two pieces?! ...hmm
Got to admit though, the facial detail is actually decent; at least they have expressions now... better than getting 4 figures with nearly the same look on their faces haha

And I've always thought the WWII German helmet had a lot to offer when combined with the gasmask as far as the creepy/cool factor goes, but yeah, shouldn't be too hard to add some hair as well.

Best of luck, if you do put something together, make sure you post some shots- I have that kit, still in the plastic though lol

Thats awesome, ill check it out, though im not happy with a few things on those new dragon kits, I'd rather the body and head be in one piece, instead of two... that just makes more seamlines to fix around small detail, id rather fix a mold line then a seam line.  Other thing is they dont put the top of the head on the gasmask head, which sucks if I didnt wana use a hat, but, gota make due, cut the hair off osmeone else, eh'

Dragon makes a nice Gen2 set in 1/35 I think it's their Eastern Tank Hunters kit.

Gas Mask head is optional, so I'd figure it's detached enough for you to stick it on any other body you'd want.

Verlinden did a couple sets of guys in pro masks, both tankers and foot soldiers in 1980s style MOPP gear. And there was a line called Graffitti creations during the 90s that made some Gulf War GIs in masks.

The Tamiya WW2 US Weapons set has really good faceblank on the mask that's in there... Cast as many as you want from resin, then put it on the face of any figures you want.. You'll have to do some surgery on the faces though...

I'd like to see a gas mask on that freaky, big, albino wolf !!!

I think Warrior's and/or Verlinden used to carry some head-sets that also had gas-masks on...

I have always liked the way gas masks look, they have a certain something about them that makes them cool and freaky at the same time, weither its a normal gas mask, a pyro in Tf2, or those freaky people in Dr. Who who had the gas masks for faces... But I think there really cool looking so I have been searching for figures that are WEARING gas masks, and I have really come up empty handed, does anyone have any resources for 1/35th fiures wearing gas masks, even just the heads would sufice
