I cant find any US army tank riders
Posted by E. Jose on Monday, June 15, 2009 1:21 AM

Im planing to make a diorama of a road with a sherman tank and some infantry riding on it and walking around it. But i really cant find any US army tank riders from tamiya or dragon because those are the two brands that i use. I saw a picture of US army tank riders by dragon in fine scale modeler magazine but i cant find it in any of my local stores.

So do any of you guys know where i can get it??????????

Try your favorite online shop- Squadron, Great Models, Roll Models, or whatever other shop you prefer.

Hi,

It is easy to find them if you can visit the right websites... I like Dragon Models very much so check it out.  I found one that fits your description and pasted the link below... good luck!

The figures from the Tamiya M-3 Halftrack are easily modified to ride a tank as well... The uniforms on those allow for a broader time-period than Dragon's too... They'll work in N. Africa, Sicily, and Italy from '42 through '44, whereas Dragon's lock you into late '44-'45...

Very true... I agree with Hans comment. Thumbs Up [tup] Too bad we are not seeing enough of US Army tank riders while there are so many Germans riders even Russians too.  Hopefully we will be expecting more Americans riders in the future because of the ongoing Sherman fever we are seeing in the forums lately.
