There's ton of stuff there... Like this Squad Leader or Gruppenfuhrer (Rank is Corporal or in German, Unteroffizier). The uniform is the early war M1936, issued through 1940. BUT, it was still being worn as late as 1944 on the Western Front, since the German's uniform quality steadily went downhill as the war progressed and more and more cellulose (Read: Paper) and less wool was used in the fabric You'd find the senior NCOs wearing them more often than not since they had been around long enough to still have their initial issue..
The major diffences that you'll find in the German uniforms is that the pleated pockets will disappear (M1942), then the color starts to vary, number of buttons change (M1943) then the tunics get shorter and look like the Ike Jackets worn by US and British troops (M1944).. Then there's the camouflage for Heer, Luftwaffe Field Divisions, and Waffen-SS, and then the Panzer crews and tropical uniforms come in as well, along with more camouflage uniforms being cut in German patterns, but using Italian camo..
Clear as mud, eh??
Bt take heart...If you check the repro sites, you'll get decent color photos and this website here is a good one too..
