i was wondering how long it would take someone to make fun of the flowers!!!! Laugh [(-D] i see a couple other areas i need to "touch up" but otherwise...oh, the hair isnt red either...its actually a redish brown...had to "touch that up" too so when it dries it'll look like it should!! Whistling [:-^]

That makes since. If I have a penny for everytime I took a picture of a model and then went, "wait a minute!?! ... Is it really that color?" And then went back to look at the model liek a retard ..... I'd be rich! ...

...well, maybe not rich, but I'd be about to go down and buy another bottle of paint at least.

Hell, that's rich to me!

Nice job with it again.

Wait what's wrong with red hair??

Nice looking SEAL camo, always a fan of those long scopes on the MP5, this must have been back in the 90s though right? All that tube and maybe a 1.5x or something like that? lol

I'm sure it worked great... I guess they had to do something before EOTechs and ACOGs came around...

Or was it the 80s?? Before my time either way. The mesh gloves are my fav! I guess if they hadn't invented porous material yet, fishnets are the way to go Laugh [(-D]

hahaha sorry, had to give you guys something in return for the animal crackers and milk. I’m actually more into chocolate chip cookies for future reference haha Wink [;)]

thanks yet again grimmo! even if you dont have this one you can always do one...120mm that is. hey...btw, not sure if your part of the australian army or what but let me say this because its gotten little to no mention here in the states...on behalf of my country...thank your fighting countrymen for all of their help and support in iraq!!! god bless 'em.

nobody said red hair was bad...hehe(in fact i had a few red haired (strawberry blonde) girlfriends...Whistling [:-^]). as far as the scope...ya got me...couldnt tell ya a thing about it...i assume ol' francois knew what he was doing. Laugh [(-D] i'm sure its been out a few years as well...

I'll give ya the skinny on the scopes .... you had to have something to look way out there to tell you if those itty-bitty little 9mil bullets were even hitting anything!!!

"pew-pew ... I shot you!" HAHA!!!!

Hey, yea! ... good point, camo! No one talks about the AA and their help in Iraq. I ran into a couple of Aussies while I was there ... those guys are CRAZY! Good .... but CRAZY!!! HA!!

no that's the original color. if you see the two pics of each side of his head you'll notice just below the goggles the "brightred/brown color. that's the only area's i touched up...and when it dries (as im sure it has now) it'll be the same color as the rest! Wink [;)]

like what as far as the goggles?? thanks about the paint & camo. i do have about 3 layers of future in the goggles and if ya look it looks like his hair can be seen through them (though that just worked out that way). Big Smile [:D] been working on this one well, not that long. see i painted it a long time ago (roughly 5 years or so). i never really liked the job i did so i "redid" it.

Hey camo junkie,

For the goggles, try using a nice thick layer of Krystal Klear frm Microscale.  I've experiemented with using tamiya clear paint mixed in to give it some tint, but haven't got it to work just yet; still, the Klear on its own dries like a nice, thick and wonderfully transparant medium--works great for small windows on aircraft, too. Maybe drill out the barrel of the MP-5 too--I find little details like that really make or break a build.

As for the hair colour, I don't mind it. :P

thanks bguy. however, i used about 6 coats of future on the goggles...believe it or not (the pics kinda suck) the lenses look like glass! see, not all the us goggles have a tint or darkness to them...some are just plain "protective eyeware"! so with that i kinda just scrubed some paint to look like hair showing thru the lenses! thank you for the tip...i do use krystal klear on my armor optics and such. the scope is also so small that even if i drilled it out you wouldnt really notice it! besides it goes on my shelf, not the judging table so im ok with it. i do have more 120mm figures that i will take more pride in painting (somewhere in this forum is my delta guy that really came out great). all that aside, thanks again for the tip and the direction. i always soak that stuff up with a sponge...even if it doesnt seem like it!
