face painting tutorial... hopefully the pics are OK
ok here we go (this IS NOT my best work at all, it looks kind of sloppy and his eyes are weird, but model maniac96 wanted to know how i did face) the colors i use are conveniently found in the craft section of wal mart i use tiger lilly, skin tone, cranberry or crimson and burnt umber. prime with regular grey primer
The first step is to take 30% tiger lilly, 30%skin tone and 30% burnt umber. 10% water. dab this mixture all over the face it should look like this
next take a wash of burnt umber
the next step is to mix a 40 60 mix of tiger lilly in skin tone, add a little water and a tiny amount of burnt umber if you wish, dabb it on the whole face avoiding directly putting it on the recessesThe next step is to add subtle highlights with pure skin tone on the nose and around the chin
Finally rosy the cheeks and lips (i over did it on this figure)
Then you add the eyes with a split toothpick and skin tone then add the iris with burnt umber and black
This is tje basic way that i started with and eventuallly youll start adding on to it as ive done here in this photo
