DML 1/72 tank commander

Hey, here's Dragons 1/72 tank commander from the kit "Achtung Jabo", it is my first completed figure tell me what you think..

He looks a little lumpy in these pics, but he's not too bad "in person". Big Smile [:D]

Here he is on his Panther!

Comments and suggestions greatly appreciated. Smile [:)]

Hmmm... hard to say about the figure quality, I've never done a 1/72 figure...

I will say that the airbrush work on the Panther roof looks exceptional though Wink [;)]

But seriously, doesn't get much better than that- red piping from a single bristle to achieve some amazing scale thickness- only thing I might say negatively is next time, I'd tone the red down with some gray to give it some scale darkness, it looks too bright, and stands out too much for my taste... of course thats probably just so you can show it off... Whistling [:-^]

That looks great, better that I could do on a 1/72 scale figure! But I will say that his face looks a little grainy, but maybe it is just the lighting.

I'm struggling through my first 1/35 figure a few threads down.

If he turns out that good, I will slap myself on the back.

1/72 makes my head hurt.  Nice work.

Thanks for the comments guys!

MM96, He is a little grainy, I used a couple coats of acrylic paint on his skin. I sprayed a clear coat on 'em that kind of toned it down.

Good luck on your fig Citadelgrad87 I have yet to finnish my 1/35 guys.. Whistling [:-^] too much detail, you can get away with missing details on a 1/72. Big Smile [:D]

hmm... wonder why Chris!

very nice!  he has a lot of detailed paint work on him for 1/72.  Braille scale stuff is just too small for me, but it seems like you get great results with it!

Lookin good.  I haven't posted any of my 1/72 figures here (maybe I should...), but definitely thin your paint, and if can get your hands on vallejo, they work very very very nicely for 1/72 figures....Smile [:)]

Thanks arkhunter2002, I'm thinking about Vallejo, I saw a tread on it, or someone mentioned it, I don't remember. I'm hopeing no one notices him and just focuses on the tank he's in Whistling [:-^] LOL
