I can't remember the manufactuer, but there was a 1/9 scale bust of a Guard Soldier. Although I think its OOP, I'll look around and see if I can find it again .....

In 1/35th scale, the Tamiya MP in Class A's would be a good starting point... The cut of the uniform is VERY close to the Dress Blues... The hard part would be re-doing the boots & leggins into low-quarters and then getting a Service Cap.. You might have to rob Ike's cap from the "Famous Generals" set...

Tomb Guard Figure?

This is so totally out of my area.  I would like to know if there is, or ever has been a figure of the Honor Guard that walks the post at the Tomb of the Unkown Soldiers in Washington D.C.  My uncle walked the post in '59-'60, and I thought it would be nice to do a figure of him.  If no specific figure ever existed, which one would you use as a starting point for modification into a Tomb Guard?

Thank you
