I love the Gen 2 figs..The two part heads are good if there is a helmet strap in place, easy to paint...without one it is insane!!! Hard to kill that seam....They do have awsome detail and great PE parts..

I'd personally go with the premium The whole 'smaller breakdown' with the 2 piece heads and hands not attached, just leave 2 things, in my mind, that jump out at me.  First is alot of even smaller parts at that scale that can be lost.  And second alot of extra hard work, fixing seams and gaps on detailed places like the face... theres no need to make a face 2 parts, its just freaking insaine

And I believe Gen 2 has PE belts and straps. PRemimum might not have those... I dunno. I'd personally buy the Gen 2, but that's your choice!

And in some cases "bonus" DS (Dragon Styrene) heads.

The Generation 2 figures have a higher parts breakdown per figure (two piece heads plus headgear, seperate hands from arms, etc) while the Premium Edition are usually older sets with sprues of newer equipemt and weapons.
