fun build. these things were huge. i have a german BR-43 sitting next to it on my desk. added a picture for comparison.

boiler was split top and bottom so there was no seam. the drive wheels and axles were 2 pieces and the smaller wheels and axles one piece so there wasn't any wheel bowing in or out as with other locomotive models (other revel, esci). no windows so i used the protective greenish cellophane from the clear plastic i was going to use. as with most of these including 1/35, the tracks and ballast aren't very good so i used HO track and scenery.

so onto the HO scale 2 esci german locomotives and 2 lufthansa dining cars; revel german locomotive; hasagara 1/72 rr gun and BR-52; and, last but not least,  trumpeter german 1/35 rr gun, BR-52, diesel switcher, and gondola plus 3 dragon cars.

This was originally a Monogram release, as was the NYC "Hudson" 4-6-4. They were actually fairly well engineered kits, and well detailed for a "snap together". Nice build!
