It's only as "modern" as up to gulf war 1. I guess they are trying to compete with Trumpeters new release. Here's a tip Dragon, MAKE A NEW SET! RE=RELEASES DONT CUT IT ANYMORE!

Deep breath time.......wooosaaaa.

It's a good kit, just not too modern. The Trumpeter kits will be the way to go for more modern stuff.

Hey Lasse,

If that's all you need, you may find Tamiya's "Armoured Troops" fig set helpful - these are Vietnam era tropos which go with the original M113 release - it's mid-70's vintage and the figs themselves are woeful by modern standards, but the weps provided are a couple of '16's an M60 and maybe a M79 grenade  launcher. They look ok as long as you fon't look too closely, but they're not great.

You should be able to find this set pretty cheaply.

Just remember, no 30-round mags for Vietnam M-16s.  If ya get in a bind, lemme know... I got some of the Tamiya M-16s from the set Phil mentioned..
