My pleasure Bill!

Base looks great and the figures really add to the vehicle presentation!

No matter what Bill you can put that on the contest table with pride!

Good Luck!

Thanks for the encouragement and kind words, Edmund.  This figure just called to me, I bought him Monday and he's already done, and you know how slowly I work.  The Alpine are now my favorite figures.

Here's a shot of the whole shebang on that base I am frantically working on:

I'll get the base finished up and post an Armor "How does me Sherman look" post tomorrow or so.

Talk to you soon, buddy.

Bill

Way cool Billiam!  I really like the final composition.  Your getting better on each figure my friend!

I assume you made a wash of cadmium red and burnt sienna for the face right?

Thanks, Edmund.

Tonight, I got him finished, I beleive, but won't seal him pending input from you.  My wife thought the red in the scarf was too stark, so I added a dark grey stripe, and left the red.  I think I like it, she is much happier.

Let me know what you think!

And the standard 3 foot shot, what you would see if I showed him to you in the garage

I think he's done, and I decided to put him in his office for a few pre sealer shots, if you don't mind:

Please let me know what you think!

THanks

Bill

PS, not bad for  5 minutes of hard work, huh?

Tonight I started him, and darned if the guys who say Alpine are the best weren't correct, this guy painted himself.

Head, all shadows and highlights done, waiting 24h to cure for a red wash:

Then I started on the body, he's pretty simple, gloves, overalls, jacket

Here he is, all done except the outlining and an oil wash

Close up, yeah, I tried to paint the scarf!

Thanks for looking, looks like barring disaster, the next post will be him sitting on his ride.

This guy needs to be quick, I need him on the vehicle for a Saturday show.  He's an Alpine winter tanker

He's primed

More tomorrow.

Thanks for looking,

Bill
