Thanks for the kind words, guys, it really keeps me motivated.

Rick, yes they are 28mm figs. So tiny. I finally got some reading glasses to magnify the faces while I paint them. I think age is starting to catch up with me.

I really like the eyes on your figures.  I also love the shading on their clothes, especially aragorn.  If I did that I would think I had used colors that are too far apart.  But seeing it complete, it works very nicely, well done.

If at first you do succeed, try to hide your astonishment.

Hello all, here are some shots of a few figs I am working on right now for a commison.

I think I have learned not to hold the figure so close to the camera. Wow a little too much detail that you would never see at arms length or in a display case.

First up we have Aragorn. Not to exciting just straight forward painting tring to match the movie costume.

man I see I have some touch up to do on him

Next we see Gandalf. I have weathered the bottom of the cloak and I need to make a new sword blade since the metal one broke off.

and finally we have boromir. I did some minor conversion. He was molded as one piece and the sword was molded against his cloak. So I clipped it off and made a new one.

I have to lighten the hair a lot and I think the tones on the leather outer cloak may be too subtle.

anyway crits and critiques are always welcome. I am here to help others and get help myself.

now go paint something!

OH BTW: I use acrylics for all my figs. Mostly Vellajo and Reaper master series.
