look: finished horseman
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, December 24, 2003 9:13 AM
i just finished this Warhammer 40k Tallarn Desert Rough Rider.

I completely custom built the right (sword) arm from a Cadian arm throwing a grenade (you can still see the bumps) and a modified Catachan sword glued to the top of the hand. The pistol and knapsack were taken from other models. The model is supposed to have a long explosive-tipped lance but i wanted to show the abilities of a horseman. I may try to find a little running creature to give a sence of movement and combat.

I feel quite dumb seeing as my picture host decided to not cooperate. Can I attach pictures here?

well it was about a 3 inch shot taken from my digital camera. I turned off the flash and used the "flower" feature which permits very close photos. Zoom also gave me the shot i needed.
