I'm not sure what you have.  I've got bunches of 120mm Verlinden figures.  None of them came with decals or transfers.

Hi Aj,

Thanks for the transfer advice, but this figure does include some sort of decal or transfer.  I can't really tell.  I can take a picture if you'd like and maybe you could help me.

To the first part of your question: no. In fact, most figures do not come with any kind of decal or transfer for markings. Some may have raised detail for some of the heraldry, but for the most part, the artist is on his/her own.

Transfers" cut out the design and place it where you want it. A bit of tape helps stabilze things. The waxy side needs to be away form the model and the slightly sticky parttern on the figure. Burnish the waxy side thoroughly. A pencil with a dulled point works fine. Carefully remove the carrier film. Highlight and shade as necessary.

Question about Verlinden and transfers...
Posted by TacoBuff on Friday, December 25, 2009 9:34 PM

Well hi everybody!  Haven't been here in a while, first semester of college will do that to you!

I have a quick question about verlinden.  Do they include decals or transfers with their figure kits?  I just received a 120mm Roman Legionaire as a Christmas gift, and it included either a decal or transfer, I can't tell.  Just wondering if you guys do so I don't end up ruining a good looking piece.

ALSO!!! How do you work with transfers?

Thanks for putting up with my questions, hope you all had a great holiday!
