Mini Art Figures
Posted by KJ200 on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 2:13 PM

I'm looking for a set of Panzer crew to go with a Panzerwaffe 46 style E100, and was eyeing up the Mini Art Panzer Crew set.

Has anyone any experience with these figures, and are they any good?

Thanks

Karl

I have several sets of theirs in my stash, but have yet to build any of them. On the sprues they look pretty good, although not quite up to the level of detail of the latest Dragon sets. I cant comment on fit. But for the price I say they certainly give you your money's worth.

I just saw some of the newest mini art releases and I have to say that DML needs to up its game. If mini art is going to keep this going they'll certainly be my first choice in the future. Great faces, poses and subject matter.

Not only Mini Art, but also Master Box. They produce quality figures on par with Dragon and Tri Star. In a few hours I'll present a new diorama using Mini Art's German Tank Crew Winter in the Diorama Forum. This is a rather old kit released several years ago, but still looks good to me.

Thanks for that.

I'm just waiting to the Mini Art panzer crew to turn up in the post.

I have experience with them.  They are fairly good for injection-molded.  So are Masterbox's.  I wouldn't go so far as to say that they blow DML outta the water...like everything else with figgies, depends on the specific set...
