AWESOME! Yes  Figure painting is usually hardest part of our hobby.  Thats why many of us don't do figures!  It is my opinion that adding figures makes it COMPLETE.  Love your figures especially the fed offical.  You did it just right... we rarely see a fed who knows how to dress right.  Couldn't tell if the sunglasses were shiny or not... did you add coats of Future so it will look shiny?

Those figures are cool. It's nice to see a subject that's out of the ordinary. And also the painting can be left to your imagination. There is no specific clothing or uniform colours that you need to adhere to.

I must say though, that V.I.P. really has poor taste in tie colours......Belly Laugh

Yes Considering there are probably not too many resin head sets out there with Oakleys for replacement the options are limited. Nicely done!

Trumpeter PMC - VIP Protective Detail - pics

I built the Trumpeter Private Military Contractors (PMCs) VIP Protection Detail figures for an ongoing project (in Dioramas) pretty much straight from the box.  The only things I added are lead foil slings for the weapons.

They went together pretty well and I had no issues with them.  I have heard all sorts of stories about how bad they were supposed to be, but to me they look pretty good.  They do have some large feet, but they don't look too bad to me.  They may be a little short too, but we'll just chalk them up to being short guys.  The weapons are really nice and they come with lots of different scopes, laser pointers, flashlights, etc. to add to them.  They also come with a bunch of extra gear to put on the figures.  I think I only used about half of the gear and weapons add-ons.

Here they are.

A couple close ups.

All comments welcomed.
