need help finding 1/16 John Paul Jones Naval Figure
Posted by Irish3335 on Thursday, March 25, 2010 3:11 AM

Hi all,

I was just at a model show and saw an excellent rendition of John Paul Jones in 1/16 scale.  Anyone know where I can find one?  I have tried Google and other searches but have come up with nada.  Any help would be great!

ok, if not the figure, how about a good web model store that focuses on 1/16 and 120mm figures?  looking for a 1/16 or 120mm around the 1812 era  to compliment my fathers scratch built USS Constitution (12 year build!)  Thanks

Verlinden makes a 1/16th British Navy officer from the 18th early 19th c. Nicely sculpted and posed. With minimal work you could probably achieve what you want to do.

Thanks much Renarts, appreciate the direction.  I know of Horacio Nelson, but that is a little off from what I want to do (like have all the body parts intact).  I just found out that the John Paul Jones figure was made by Legends & Lore - tried to find a website for it, but there does not appear to be one - anyone out there know what the deal is with them?  Still looking....

here is a picture of the figure if anyone has seen one, let me know!  I really want to do this figure for my dad, and it is a perfect match for his 1/96 USS Constitution..thanks all
