You right about the old cholocate-ship uniforms, forgot about those. I remember some wearing BDUs. I saw a recent photo in the Ft. Leonard Wood newspaper of the IP (Iraqi Police) wearing a blue tinted camo like the Air Force does.

I think you could paint these Hajis in about any old American uniform and it would be "correct". I don't think they are to standardized on anything.

The ICM troops (US Anti-Terror Forces in A'stan set) are pretty bad.  I guess they will work as Iraqi's since their gear is out of date (PAGST vests, ALICE web gear, etc.) .  The biggest issue with them is the weapons.  The M16A1 is way out of date.  The M60 is usable, but I don't remember Iraqi's having any.  The .50 cal M107 sniper rifle was not used by the Iraqis.  Best bet for weapons is to replace then with Soviet weapons, AK-47 for the M16A1 and M60, RPK for the M107 or M60.  The uniforms should be painted as the old 6-color "Chocolate-Chip" DCUs too, not the 3-color DCUs that US forces wore up until recently.

6-color DCUs

With these changes, they should do well as Iraqis.

The kevlar all look too big to me; more like stahlhelm than kevlar .  Might just be the photos.

Cut the necks down, they look like giraffes. Also if they are Iraqi troops then paint them like US troops from 5 years ago. We have been giving them all our old DCU uniforms, helmets and weapons.
