Thanks for the website ajlafleche there are some awesome figures there, of all periods. I was thinking about 1/72, 1/48, or 1/35 scale Star Wars figures for use with X-Wings and Tie Fighters - be neat to see a re-creation of the Death Star Scenes with a hanger full of Tie Fighters and Stormtroopers - 70mm might be a little big for an army of Stormtroopers - MANUFACTURES MAKE SOME SMALL SCALE STUFF!
Irish3335 lets see some star wars figures! ANY SCALE ! A legion of 1/72 stormtroopers would look awesome next to a tie fighter hanger diorama, same with a set of Rebellion ground support units for an X-wing. There are plenty of big scale figures (1/6 and 1/9 stuff), how about 120mm stuff? be awesome to see clone troops in different uniforms.

Knight Models 30 and 70mm figures. Just gotta know where to look! Available in the states from Colorado Miniature.
Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Boomer,
Woah, those are some cool looking troops! Thanks for the link, a bit expensive for this humble modeler yet the Bronze figures would complement any office or home. If quality is what you need and price no object I would recommend these 1/6 scale figures! Being resin they should offer conversions (swap out gun) to make the 'Nam figures American or Canadian. Just a idea to expand their marketability.
Yes, and I sure would love to see figures that are not in Field Gray, or any Wehrmacht uniform, those are quite plentiful. But more Styrene troops of just about every other nation from WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Middle East, etc...
F is for FIRE, That burns down the whole town!
U is for URANIUM... BOMBS!
N is for NO SURVIVORS...

That's right, ya just gotta know where to look!
If you haven't visited the Naked Army site before, and you like like Aussie subjects, you need to go there now!...
There figures are awesome and i want all of them.... They are all 1/6 scale and superbly done. Some are resin but most of the range is in bronze which is quite paintable. I have seen some done. The bronze ones are a little more expensive though. If you go to the website and view the bronze figures you can rotate the pics. Cool feature!
Here are some of their resin offerings.....
Ya just gotta know where ta look!

Al, you ROCK buddy! Thanks!
Dragon has some 1/35 US troops in Viet Nam, in their catalog, even down to an Air Cav officer in slouch hat a la Bobby D from "Apocalypse Now". I think they have 7 or 8 different sets.
The bigger the government, the smaller the citizen.
the Baron Anyone else notice that there is NO CATEGORY FOR FIGURES IN THE MOST WANTED KIT POLL? As Curly said, "Low man again!"

Agreed!
Ultracast! Need you fellas to help us out, more Nam' era figures in 1/35 scale and possibly a 120mm 'Mad Max'
Bravo 6 looks great and will try a few of their offerings.
Verlinden made a few resin Nam' figures years back. Are they still available? It seems a few were 'borrowed' or paid royalties from the comic book 'Savage Tails' 3000 miles away I have all 8 issues... Great art work and stories.

Oh, I'll be at the MFCA Show-I'm on the show committee! We've met in past years, I'm certain. I spend most of my time standing behind the admissions table during the day, and behind the bar in the evening.
I do frequent the figure sites, mostly Conny Schulte's HZ-Forum, PlanetFigure, and TimeLines. I just wanted to highlight the clear bias. Figure painters are on the "pay no mind list" around here.
Meh, who needs polls! High thee over to the figure sites and talk to the scupltors directly and put a bug in their ears!
I see you're just over an hour from Valley Forge...I hope you're planning to take a ride down there for MFCA next month. My co-pilot has the room set up and I'm looking forward to another excellent show. If you do, I'll be one of several guys wearing essentially the same dark background Hawaiian shirt with bright parrots on Saturday.
