German infantry at kursk

Did the German infantry at kursk have the full camo uniforms yet or were there only the top parts half. Im planning on a diorama of kursk so I am unsure of how to model them.

Most of the infantry had only camo smocks, either in Heer splinter or SS patterns...there were some SS tanker one-piece suits that were in camo that started to arrive on the scene during that time period, however...

Ok thanks for the information. could you point me towards some figure kits for a 1/35 kursk dio. I want to depict the blowtorch battalion in combat.

Blowtorch Battalion? What division were they part of?

The blowtorch battalion was part of the 1st SS Division...it was commanded by Peiper during this time-frame and was the one battalion in the Regiment that was carried exclusively in halftracks...it got the name because it was known to cut through the Soviet lines like a blowtorch and wreak havoc in the rear areas...during the 3rd battle of Charkow, it sortied deep behind the enemy lines and rescued several infantry units that had been cut off and had many wounded...
