Here is a figure I bought a while back and decided to start building it. This is my first big figure (1/16 scale) I am almost done I just need to finish painting a few things, one of which is the head. Hope you enjoy comments are welcome.

Here is the finished product, with a nifty base.

Off to a good start mate! Can't see anything obviously wrong. The Gas Mask Container looks odd on the front. But that may be just because it is usually seen on the rear. That doesn't mean to say that some soldier didn't carry it on the front when behind the lines.

The Tamiya 1/16 figures are great. The only thing is you have to clean up seam lines where you don't with resin.

Nice work so far. Look foward to more.

Ditto  Agree with Justin.... but I do remember seeing pictures that Germans moved their personal gears to the front while they are riding so they can sit back completely.  Your figure is coming out great!  Looking forward to see it done.

Thanks for your comments. By the way the gas mask canister is in the front becasue he is carrying a tripod on his back. This figure is done now and I am putting the pics on.

Ahahaaaaa....it all comes together. Nice work. That tripod looks really cool. Does he have a weapon? I thought a tripod bearer would carry a rifle or at least a sidearm. I would have thought a Kar98 rifle would be the weapon. Just my thoughts. Overall a nice job

Oh, your groundwork for the viginette looks great too. What did you use for the plants? They look good.  Maybe you could darken the fence a little. But that's just my opinion. Great stuff!

I would have given him a rifle if it came with the kit, I used some small plants I found in my yard and the grass is just horse hair. The fance is acctually dirty but it is hard to tell with these pictures.
