These figures are supposed to be a rerelease of the old 1/32 figures. They have the same molding, poses and they are single pieces. They are not the multipose figures. I bought them because i thought they would be like the old ones. If you know of which figures i am talking about you will understand why it is so bad to be made with a bad hard plastic. They are NOT high class modelers figures. They are for playing mostly, simply they had a very good detail for that and this was the reason they became so popular and famous.
Even painting them (the new ones) with enamels creates some weird surface effects (some times something like wrinkles. it seems like the plastic melts by the color?)
In other words the "soul" of these kind of figures was the soft nice plastic!
Now this will go down...
It makes me sad because i have loved these kind of figures for many reasons. One of them was the fact that you could remove the paint by dropping them inside a jar filled with aceton, paint them again and again. With this you could even use them for experimenting with colors.
Anyway... it was a bad choice for airfix to use this kind of plastic
