12th SS?  They didn't do donuts.....just chocolate.

They received extra rations of chocolate instead of cigarettes.

Very,very nice work though some smears of chocolate around the mouth wouldn't be out of place.Stick out tongue

BTW...what did you use to highlight his unterseeboot leather garb?

~NICE~ !

This one looks Very very good. Great intense color changes. You did this head with Humbrol too? Excellent tonal transitions and deep solid look   {great eyes}  & nice overall consistancy without any garish tones!!

~~~So now that you've perfected your large-scale painting....
          ..........is it finaly back to DITCY II ? (fingers crossed)
Thanks!  I used a very light grey with a hint of khaki to replicate the wearing of the leather along edges and seams. I also made the leather a bit "shiny" in some areas for a more realistic sheen...the garrison cap is more of a flat-black since it would be wool...
Really nice work, sorry I didn't catch this one earlier.  Might have toned down the eyebrows a little but who am I to talk, my figures suck!  You say you've done 4 of these this year?  You're building up to platoon strength.  Hope you treat these big boys nice or they might gang up on you some night and you'll find yourself waking up in a trench back on the eastern front!  Can't wait to see more of these figs.
one scantily clad female figure
and
one guy dressed in leather.......
