Here is Andrea’s 54mm Theodore Roosevelt. He is painted in acrylics with a bit of oil washes in some seams. The kit comes with two pair of super delicate PE brass eye glasses. I was fortunate enough to get the first pair glues to the head. The face had been fully painted before the glasses were attached. Once set, I added the lenses with a drop of epoxy glue. Careful examination of the close ups allows some eye detail to show through, though in real life, this is not really visible. The ground work was built up with Celluclay, a couple “rocks” and Silfor grass tufts. The rocks and grass tufts came from Military Miniatures Warehouse as did the kit. I looked into placing a Gatling gun as a back drop but opted to keep it simple. I’d also thought of a defeated Maxim, but all research showed the Spanish did not use these in Cuba.
Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.
