looking for 1/35-1/32nd medeival plastic figures

Im looking for medeival-rennisance type plastic figure kits that arent by companies like Italieri.  Im sick and tired of spending the money on the kit and finding out the plastic is this soft crap and starts to ****ing fray when you try and cut or sand down the mold lines destroying the kit.

hat figures are horrible, there soft plastic and the detail isn't good.  They dont fit together well, there is alot of flash, the bend so you cant get rid of seams and sutff

Have you looked at Toy Soldiers of San Diego.  They have manufactured a line of knights and Vikings.  Didn't Conte produce several sets of plastic Medeival figures?  They are all soft plastic but have good detail and cut well when moving heads and limbs.  Rick.

Yes, sorry, Smeagol, but I don't think any of the manufacturers who use harder materials like plastic or resin make anything like you're looking for, not in anything more than single figures.  Most of the ones that I'm familiar with use the softer plastic.

If you're not averse to working with metal figures, there are some very good figures out there, Del Prado, for example, which can serve as the basis for conversions.  King & Country has excellent medieval figures--Renaissance is completely different, by the way--but the price per figure can give you pause before modifying them.

The bigger the government, the smaller the citizen.

Id work with whatever medium I could, I like the subject.  I dunno how to work with metal figures though.

Iv worked with the conte figures before, there nice but its just not attractive when there is a giant mold line through the figure you cant remove.

I have seen the verlinden medeival kits and there nice, but I have had bad experience with their kits, mostly HUGE blocks of resin that little tiny parts are attached to and seemingly no way to remove them without damaging the part.

I accidentally broke the neck guard of a samurai kit from them because it was paper thin and was attached to more resin then the piece itself was made of.
