Tiger Models?
Posted by smeagol the vile on Sunday, August 1, 2010 12:06 AM

Hey guys I have a question.  There is someone on ebay that is selling resin figure kits at 1/35th scale from some company called tiger models.  I found their site but they have one item on it.

does anyone know anything about these kits, are they good, bad, whats a normal price scheme for them what?

heh dude,

Never heard of 'Tiger models' With hundreds of cottage companies producing specialty items or just mass producing their own custom parts / figures they may be a 'one hit wonder'

I know its not the answers you seek yet I thought a 'bump' to the main page might help.

You may be looking for a company formerly known as Tiger Model Designs. which evolved into the Tiger Models which you are now looking at.

TMD used to have an extensive range of AM goodies and was quite well regarded. TMD has since ceased production of the older products and TM is essentially a new company with a new product line. The owner has indocated that he may bring back some of the older productsat some point.

Im  tempted to get a few of these kits and try them out.  Some of them are really cool subjects but the facts on a few of them would need a switching out with a hornet head or something, tho others are really good, I love the post figures he has, Ill probably grab them.  Post being mail carrier and a bunch of diffrent german soldiers holding and reading letters
