Help needed, please!
Posted by Blueman on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 3:04 PM

I've got a 1/32 scale Lancaster bomber waiting to be started, but I haven't been able to find any figures. Does anyone know if a 1/32 RAF WW2 bomber crew is made by anyone? Many thanks for any assistance.

Hi & good luck with your Lanc.

This guy seems to be doing something similar: http://forums.diecast-aviation.eu/showthread.php?t=13045

Also edit your Subject to something like " 1/32 RAF Bomber Crew help needed" you will get a better response.

Preiser & K&C have done 1/32nd figures,

as do more 'toy-like' mfrs: http://die-cast-collector.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html

Thanks Jon, I'll have a scout around and see what's what. I've seen a nice pilot on the Dartmoor site which I'm thinking of using. Fingers crossed that something else turns up, or it's time to learn how to sculpt figures!!

That is wrong scale! He's looking for 1:32 pilot figures. So I'd suggest you change the last two digits from "48" to "32" and you'll find an offer from Master Box in 1:32 scale. I had one built and shown just recently:

The British pilot included in the set is "James Edgar "Johnnie" Johnson
