I've used a cut down candle stick from Michael's which I stained for one but. I've picked up some nice bases from semi professional base makers that fit the subject. Do a search at http://www.timelinesforum.com/ and http://www.planetfigure.com/. There are several dealers who have posted their wares there.

You might even search around the reenactor sites to see if there's a german medal or SS runes to attach to a simpler base for this figure.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Use anything you like and do not limit yourself to the internet.

really, anything will do. a chunk of wood, a fancy resin base, whatever fits the mood of the character. I see a lot of busts on vertical rectangular prisms of wood, and mounted with a brass rod.

Hello all!  I have just purchased a 1/10 bust of a Waffen SS from Young miniatures and I am wondering what base I should use, and where to buy it on the internet.  Thanks in advance to all!!
