Robin Hood... Warner Brothers' style...!
Posted by djmodels1999 on Tuesday, January 13, 2004 3:32 PM
Here's yet another little vignette of mine, this time depicting Daffy Duck as Robin Hood Daffy...

The pose is taken directly from the cartoon, but the scenery is mine.

It's a bit of Milliput and some more Super Sculpey over wire for RHD, while the scenery is plastic, milliput, tea leaves, wire and balsa wood.

Hope you like it!

That looks like a buck and a quarter quarter staff to me. Great work Domi.

Great job, DJ! And Marvin the Martian is too cool.
My all-time favorite (aside from this DD episode of course!): Bugs being chased in Sherwood Forest by the Sheriff... then Bugs masquerading as the king and proceeding to "Knight" the Sheriff, by bashing him over the head with a large sceptre:
*BASH* Arise, Sir Loin of Beef!
*BASH* Arise, Earl of Cloves!
*BASH* Arise Duke of Ellington!
*BASH* Arise, Baron of Munchhausen!
*BASH* Arise, Essence of Myrrh!
*BASH* Milk of Magnesia!
*BASH* Quarter of Ten!
After all these years I still LMAO at this one....Laugh [(-D]

Thanks Guys..! I had a whale of a time sculpting and painting those. I may re-start sculpting some as reading your reactions is very encouraging. Thank you.

Keyworth, of course I thought of marketing them but those were solely for my own pleasure or/and for gifts to some close friends and family (Marvin is my wife's!). Sculpting them for selling would involve considerable more work, and finding someone to cast them for me. Also, I do not really fancy meeting WB's lawyers... Black Eye [B)]
