DML Figures
Posted by raffrecon on Thursday, January 6, 2011 10:06 PM

Whats up with what appears to be a seam line down the leg of all the Dragon 1/35 figures? Are they supposed to be a seam line in the pant material? It seems like a possibility because they aren't on the arms. If they're not supposed to be there, does anyone have a simple way of filing them. I'm doing my first dio and want to include a lot of figures.  thanks

I think these seems are usually part of the molding process. I just run a scalpel blade lightly down the seem, that usually does the trick.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

If it's a raised line that continues over the foot gear, it has to go. If it's recessed and stops at the foot gear, it stays. You should use this as a demarcation line for any camo since a pattern would not be matched up as if it were a pattrn on a fine suit. If it's recessed, lay a slightly darker base color line in there to accent it.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.
