Np Owl,

Not sure if FSM considers this a commercial plug or not but I've found these guys pretty good.

http://www.linkandpinhobbies.com/Dinopric.htm#dinomodels

Only issues are: paying seventy bucks for a six inch (15cm) model is more than a little steep and they don't seem to update stock on their website very often. I've asked about several things they've listed as 'in-stock' and been told they don't have any. Hmm

Still they're good people to deal with.

OOHHHHHH very cool Fermis! How did I miss this when it was first posted!?!!

BTW Owl if you're still looking there are piles of dino and prehistoric animal kits in resin, of course being resin they're not cheap. You might try a websearch using 'dinosaur model'.

 Them trees is just saplings!!!

Not a perminent home for the dino, just for the photo op. Part of a display for when I get around to building an old locomotive.

Squadron has a couple Revell and Tamiya dino kits. Not much to choose from.

I love the coloring. That is some very nice airbrush work, however...the trees you used makes that fella look WAY over scale.  That looks like its supposed to be a Dilophosaurus, but they were about 20 feet long and about 5 feet tall at the hips. With those little trees, you are suggesting he is larger than a Tyrannosaur!

Where does one get a Dinosaur kit anyway? Ive been wanting to add one to the stash....particularly a raptor.

Pretty much everything I do has wings or rotors, and the few figs I've done have been pilots. For a change of pace, and airbrush practice, I decided to paint a dino. My dad and little bro. built these about 15 years ago. They recently found their way into an attic box at my bro's house, so I stole em!!!! Here's what I had to work with.

Haven't done anything yet with the T-rex, but the other is all painted up. With the exception of the eyeballs, everything is airbrush work.
