Need help with a source for a figure
Posted by wing_nut on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 6:55 PM

I am looking for a good quality figure of a man in civilian clothing around the time of WWI in 1/32, 1/35, 54MM.  Anyone specialize or carry a line that would have something like that?

Verlinden used to have a pair of businessmen in generic top coats that might fit the bill. Also go to The Red Lancer and look up Mig, Mk35, Nemrod WWII, Pegaso WWII, Scale Model Accessories, and Wolf WSH series.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Your best bet is Preiser's 1/32 range of figures:

There are several in that scale from this manufacturer that are suitable or adaptable for your needs.

.........Masterbox and Mini Art have  several sets with civilian European figures. They're mostly from the World War Two era but they probably can be modified. Anyway I don't think civilian clothing, in Europe, changed that much during the first half of the last century.
