Only question is SS runes shield on both sides of helmet; usually on right side(?), other side had red shield with swastika or was left blank.  Other variations could have existed, but was usually one or the other.  Excellent work however!!

Thanks Indy.

Yeah, I went and bought nearly the whole line of Stalingrad, incredible sculpts. I have a few figures from before they changed their name from Zelenkov Miniatures.

Pencil?  You got to be kidding me... it made it look too real. Thanks for answering my question. Beer  Again, beautiful work... if I was a woman I would have wanted to marry him.

Buckeye

Fantastic work!  Wish I could do half as well with figures.

Thanks a lot, Buckeye!

SteveM

Thanks guys, I appreciate you having a look. Apologies for my tardy gratitude.

Smeagol and Andy (to address your question from the Group Build Wink ): the helmet's texture is nothing I did on purpose. I just used a 6B artist pencil to bring it out a bit. As with most of my modeling techniques, the end result is likely serendipitous...

Any success I have is usually accidental. Indifferent

Nice job on the helmet, it looks really good, the textureing is great.  Rest of the kit is good too

Minisoldiers Driver of Sd.Kfz.222 1/35

Hi gang. I have completed this dude for the Figure Group Build. Minisoldiers 1/35 kit of an Sd.Kfz. 222 driver. Thought I'd post him over here, too. He's posed (not permanently attached) on an older groundwork base. He should have an MP40 slung around his shoulder but, honestly, after painting parts separately, then attaching arms to torso, then filling, sanding, repainting, ad nauseam, I had no heart left. One day I'll place him on a proper base, and will likely add his weapon to the scene but, for now, I'm calling him finished. Painted with Vallejos, skin tones in oils, transfers are Aber and Archer, weathered with Migs:

I am in love with these Russian figure manufacturers. Minisoldiers, Evolution, Stalingrad, Tank, Mantis, Bravo 6... the detail of these kits blows my mind.

Comments and critique welcomed.
