As long as you don't have them standing side-by-side for a police line-up, I'd mix them together anyway. I'm assuming different poses/actions etc. (And 1:1 people don't all scale out the same anyway, right?)

that sounds like what im after Kermit,

Although this makes me wonder if any other model kits are actually acurate in scale. one thing i did too though was compare the 1:72 Zvezda Anti Tank Gun Crew to the 1:72 Acadamy German fuel truck but they seemed a little larger than they should be. it seems hard to get a happy medium to this problem.

Mig,

i have this luftwaffe set from revell in my possesion and i think you will like it. it has even got doggiesBig Smile But seriously, some figures come in one piece, seated, climbing in, with and without oxygen mask... but the nice thing is there are several in pieces so you can give them the stance you need. Nice detail with almost no excess plastic as well. I'd say go for it.

Btw, Yes they are 1:72Wink

thanks for the reply. i will try a different brand. maybe Revell's Lufwaffe Pilot and Ground Crew 1:72 scale set may be a more accurate option. i dont really want to have all different sized things in my work!

Most of Airfix's figures and vehicles are actually 1/76, not true 1/72.  That makes them quite a bit smaller.  I'm not sure why, but it seems 1/76 is more common in Britain.  Airfix just relabeled them 1/72 to appeal to the more common aircraft scale.

I am recently attempting a German airfield scene diorama in 1/72 scale. I have the Airfix Luftwaffe ground crew, and also bought an anti-aircraft gun that came with some operating personnel.

My question is, if they are all in 1:72 scale, why are the airfix Figures dwarfed by the other figures! its a huge difference. i even compared it to an Anti Tank Gun set of figures and it was the same deal?

any info would be appreciated! thanks
