Italeri has some plastic VC/NVA:

Hovels has 4 peasant sets .

Both are availabl;e from Michigan Toy Soldier.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Nobody gets to see 1:72 Vietnamese civilians!
Not nobody! Not no how!

Seriously, I can find 1:35 (Verlinden, BTW):

And Viet Cong: https://secure.flickr.com/photos/38946184@N07/4458190158/

Plus a slew of 1:72 European civilians (circa, 1925):

But no 1:72 [insert appropriate idiomatic colloquialism] Vietnamese civilians! At least that I’ve been able to find. (Any resemblance between reality and my private views is largely non-deterministic. The question of the existence of views in the absence of anyone to hold them is left as an exercise for the reader.)

Welcome to the forum anyway. The natives are friendly (well, MOSTLY friendly).

Occasional factual, grammatical, or spelling variations are inherent to this thesis and should not be considered as defects, as they enhance the individuality and character of this document.

Seeing this is your first post, I would like to say welcome hermandog,, glad to have you with us.

I am not really sure of 72nd Vietnamese figs though. Try some of the online hobby shops. You might want to post your question in a few more areas to blanket some replies (armor, diorama, etc.)

Best of luck with the hunt.

Bill

Enjoy the ride!

1/72 figure question

I'm planning a diorama that will use 1/72 Vietnamese civilian figures, including children. Would anyone have any suggestions of where I might find something like this - or make them? I'm new to figure modeling, have always done aircraft and ships. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
