I fully agree about the seams.  I was not happy with how it came out.  I tried to use some of the tips that others have posted in the forums or from reading in the magazine.  I was also a little reluctent to really try to use putty or something else.  I used some super glue because I didn't want to lose the texture of the fur.  I know I'll have more leway when I do one of the other monsters.

Thanks

Nice job Navy,,,   for a first figure, you did very well.           I really like these old monster kits,, I remember building all of them as a kid back in the 60's.

You might want to hone some of the seam detail on your next build. Use some filler or super glue and shave / file down some of the prominent seam lines.

Great job overall

Enjoy the ride!

Thanks, not sure when I'll get to Frankenstein.  I try to mix up my modeling and not do the same thing in a row,  I'm working on the Bates Mansion right now.

This is the first figure I've done.  I started with an easier design and hope to get better,  I will be doing the other monsters from Revell (The Mummy, Dracula and Frankenstein)

I painted everything with acrylics.  Used brown on the exposed body and dry brushed it with nutmeg brown lighted with some white.  The pants are a combination of calispo sky and carolina blue.
