1/72 Preiser- Advancing Infantry (Lots of Conversions)
Posted by Panzer_Grenadire on Thursday, September 15, 2011 7:02 AM

Here there are the colleagues of the other outstanding Preiser set, "Advancing Grenadiers with MG" that I posted a couple of days ago.
Like there, also here are presented lots of conversionns, many done after reference images.

The two sets are perfectly compatible and brilliant complete each other. Of course, if put together there is made a quite nice and long row of marching soldiers... :-D

I hope you will enjoy these figs, too.

Any chance you are going to do a review of the new Zvezda Mongols?  They look like beautiful figures and I'd love to see your work on them, you do a superb job.

Big Smile Not a chance, I am s much behind with painting my WWII Germans....Ithink I stil have more than 100 figure sets untouched...Sad

Indeed, Zvezda makes impressive figures, but maybe quite soon I will do their WWII German Pioneers....

I know it is not the same, it was just a small joke and I wish to warmly thank you for your message and appreciation.Smile

Haha

I completely understand having way to many kits.  Especially for you, those  1/72nd kits are so inexpensive and you get so many figures.

Just from what I have seen those new Zvezda figures are beautifully sculpted and would like to see you do a review of them.

Indeed, this is our great luck, the 1/72 kits are not so expensive....Still, some can be quite expensive, payinb over 30 USD per box.....and I have the bed habit of buying more boxes of the same kit for conversion purposes....

Likewise, when you have around 500 figure kits , it makes a good amount of money....Wink

Regarding Zvezda, I have already reviewed thee of their sets, the WWII German Infantry, the MG team and the 20 mm FLAK. I think images of these figs and the conversions I made on them are available on this site as welll as the links to the reviews....Smile
