Thanks for the comments, H. With some 500 tribes (nations) and possibly many sub-tribes, such as the Apaches (Jicarilla, Mescalero, Chiricahua, Kiowa, Lipan, Navaho and Western) that would be a great undertaking. Plus I'd have to rely on the sculptors providing the figures. But a seed has been planted.

Another nice bust. Are you trying for all the tribes?

Absorokee (Crow) Bust

Here is Model Cellar’s bust titled “Slow Wolf.” It is identified as a Crow (Absorokee) Indian, though there is nothing specific enough to limit this bust to that tribe, and it could represent almost any of the Plains tribes.

It is cast in five pieces of resin: Bust, left and right braid and 2 feathers. There may have been a small piece of resin for the tie on the headdress. If there was, it got lost. I made a new one from twisted thread treated with Zap-a-Gag. The box has photos of the completed bust, front and back, as a painting guide.

Since this does not represent a specific person, the painter has more leeway in how tp present him. I chose a gray wolf pelt, though the colors could range from black to white, black and white face paint, and hawk, rather than eagle feathers.

The kit does not include a base so I used one from John Jeffries.
