That sounds like a great idea, iqeratic.I would have never gone there.Since None of the decal softeners or setting solutions got me anywhere,it makes perfect sense to use something w/ adhesive properties but not too strong. Thank you.And your Knight & Steed look awesome.  keith r.

Hello...

Although I've never tried Acupat decals, a few years ago I did make my own decals to create a pattern on the surcoat of a 54mm knight.  I applied the decals in sections cut to about 3mm by 3mm.  For your scale you should be able to go larger.  When done I suggest going back in with a paint brush to tie some of the pattern together cause no doubt there will be areas where the decal sections will be quite noticeable.  I also found because of the sculpted wrinkles on the figure surface, the decals adhered best when the coat of future was still tacky to the touch.

regards,

Jack

help with decals

Hi all.Has anyone had any luck with the " Acupat" decals from Alliance.I thought they'd be great for the new digital camo,as painting it & having it look convincing is next to impossible [ for me,anyways]. None of the decal softening & setting solutions i've tried have worked. These things stay inflexible afyer applying with no give at all.I wasn't surprised at all when I read a review of them yielding the same results [ or lack of ] on another site. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, keith r.
