This is my latest build I found a picture on line that gave me the idea. I made the figures, car body and rear tires out of Sculpey. The engine is a 1/10 scale model kit the front end and interior of the car are from a 1/18 scale die cast 32 Deuce.
Here is the picture I used.
Here is my 3-D version.
Using Sculpey? Seriously?!?! Nice job! The smokin' tires & flaming exhausts must be cotton??

Superb work !
Brings back fond memories of the 1960s era Rat Fink craze.
Great job with the sculpting and painting.
Adding the cotton really gives the impression of motion.
This is great! I remember that series of kits from the 1960's (Ed "Big Daddy" Roth), but they never looked this good. Congratulations.

That is fantastic!! I saw your earlier post first and thought "ok, that's ambitious." I never expected to find it completed a few pages later.

I remember the plastic Rat Fink key chains/rings from the mid 60's. They came in a wide variety of colors and were available at Woolworths. About 1 1/2 to 2 in in length. I had about 15 of these and still didnt have all the colors. There were only a few basic colors at first and then came all the others
In the back where his hands came together was a round hole. This was to push him onto a ring but I really dont remember rings being sold with these.
I've checked on ebay for these but none of them have the hole in back.
