I just finished this guy up for a Sherman I'm building, it came with the kit, dragon set "orange box" sherman kit

I might go back and add more creases in the hat.

this looks pretty realistic. What do you paint with, oils?

thanks,

I put a base color with acrylic, this is the mid tone.  then I use oils to add shadow and highlights.  makes it super easy to blend.

Your figure looks great! Yes  I painted same thing for my Chaffee earlier this year.  It originally came from Dragon US Tank Crew figures set.  Wondering if you had difficult times attaching the back part of the headcover?

the instructions aren't clear on that, at first i couldn't figure it out lol, but then realized you have to assemble the hats back part and chin strap together first and  then to the head itself. and they align like magic, and while the head is still separate from the body

LOL!  I am with you about the instructions being not clear.  Unforutnately my figure head was already glued to the body.  So I had to do the hard way getting that back part on and used putty to cover the huge gap.  Typical of Dragon...

Nothing beats getting those Dragon figures for only $10-$15 for 4-6 figures.  Again, great job on your tank crew.  It is always a pleasure looking at your work.
