Without getting into all the details, choosing the right colour is just a guess.  If I had to pick from the brand you want, well I would just mix my own.  I dunno, try this one and maybe add a little white.  Many of the google images of repros are more grey than anything, so is a personal choice.  I don't think you have to worry about the fashion police knocking on your door for whatever shade of grey you come up with.

Can you give a Vallejo paint number for grey-green?

Shirt colour is grey-green as were the buttons.  Though non-regulation practice, shoulder insignia could be worn but not by private ranks.

Thank you very much for your help. Jagdpanther is belonged to 2./s.H.Pz.Jg.Abt.654, France 1944. And one more question, some soldiers wear only shirt, don't wear jacket of uniform. Which colour will be correct for shirts?

An SS crew doesn't necessarily mean they only wear camou.  Bigger question is, were there any SS formations in France during '44 that had the Jagdpanther.  To my limited knowledge on the subject,  one battalion (schwere Heeres Panzer-Jäger-Abteilung 654) was present in June 1944.  During the Ardennes offensive this same unit was taken out of reserve and joined the  560th  as part of the German OOB.   Both of these units were Heer.

It would depend if the Jagdpanther was SS or Heer,if SS, then they would have the camo uniforms,Right ?

You would paint them field grey (Vallejo german uniform) as dictated by the change dated February 1942 for all Panzerjager units.  Shoulder straps and the skull collar insignia would remain black.

btw the boxart for the figures, the grey is actually field grey.

Jack

I’m finishing a diorama which takes place in France at WWII with Dragon’s Early Jagdpanther (6494). I will use Miniart’s German Self-Propelled Gun Crew (35008) as figures. I wanna ask whether I must paint black and grey those figures as on the box or I  must paint with Vallejo’s  german uniform ?

Thank you very much
