Mike- I am afraid I have to buy all future Dragon releases... only Germans and Americans.  I am not really into Russian armor... I am glad because if I was my stash would be much bigger and I will not be able to build them all.  Stick out tongue

Eric- Thanks! Always good hearing from you my friend! Beer

I'm just lucky with the two Russian sets I have that I actually have a couple Mosin Nagants to use as examples when doing the guns. And I hopefully plan on getting some of the newer Gen2 US sets as I have a M1 Garand clip to use as a example when painting those as well and the 8 rounds in it are well unusual so to say.

On the workbench: Dragon 1/350 scale Ticonderoga class USS BunkerHill 1/720 scale Italeri USS Harry S. Truman 1/72 scale Encore Yak-6

The 71st Tactical Fighter Squadron the only Squadron to get an Air to Air kill and an Air to Ground kill in the same week with only a F-15 http://photobucket.com/albums/v332/Mikeym_us/

Anthony- Thanks man!  I used couple of paint colors on the fleece hoods.  Base color was off white, then sand color for the depth. Then it was highlighted with white on the top of edges before I applied heavily thinned oil paint burnt umber to make the details pop.  Give it a shot... it was fun and easy.  Oh, I forgot to mention that a cold bottle of Beer helped too.

LOL no kidding especially since alot of those figure sets contain alot of goodies for the spares box including weapons and kit (gear for the not so military inclined). I think I have over 30 DML figure sets including extras and quite a few Tamiya figure sets as well. Probably need to get some more Soviet figure sets since I have a couple Soviet WWII AFV's

Mike- Yes I can not remember which figure set I stole the head strap from. LOL!  I have like 30 figure sets in stash so it was fun going thru many boxes.  Appreciate you taking your time to let me know... I am always looking for more figure sets especially for half tracks.

Goose- Thanks buddy... glad you liked them!

KFC-  Maybe I shouldn't have added 'F' to your name.  I think of KFC every time I see your name. Big Smile  Yes you will love this set.  It was released recently so they have great improved details.  I consider them better than resin now because they are ALOT cheaper. Wink

As for PE headset straps  the DML German Halftrack crew set has 4 PE headset straps yet you use only one so you could probably pick up the Halftrack crew figure set and have a few extra straps and I think the Achtung! Jabo figure set includes the same pe set as well.

Thought I'd share you my latest work on figures from Dragon... 'Totenkopf Division Kharkov 1943'.  They are going with my StuG III Ausf F/8 I am building for my Panzer III & its Variants GB.

I have to say that those are the best figures from Dragon so far.  Their facial expression were just great...

The AMMO BOY- He is missing a k98 rifle... I snapped it in half while trying to attach it to his hand. Angry  Will have it repaired or replaced...

 The MULE-

The RAMBO- My favorite so far.  I am still working on his helmet.  It is temporarily attached using putty.  Will use hairspray technique for white wash when I have my StuG white washed at the same time.

The COMMANDER- From Tahk (Tank)... resin figure.

I have to say kudos to Dragon for coming out with this great figures set.  I will not hesitate to buy future releases like this especially that they are alot cheaper than resin figures.

Comments and feedbacks are always welcome.  Thanks for looking!
