Legend Productions 1/72nd B-17 crew figures

Does anyone know if any of the Legend Productions 1/72nd B-17 crew figures will fit in the old Revell B-17F ("Memphis Belle," "Miami Clipper," etc.) kit? Maybe in the cockpit seats, nose, or waist positions?
I think the figures are intended for another 1/72nd B-17 kit (Academy?), and don't know if the Revell kit is true 1/72nd scale or not...
